Damn...what the hell happened round here, one day you look up, your effin 35 years old and you have neglected your blog for near two months. OK, so even if they become the standard robo-post, U-Tube video of some dudes doin' somethings we aint never heard of that how its gonna be. I have an exercise to continue here my friends and this must be done.

Speaking of exercise I am happy to report I am now 36 hours and only one cigarette in that time, I think, I know I will make today, this 24 hours with no cigarettes. I ordered some herbal stuff off the radio one day. You know one of those "free" offers and the first thing when you call they want a cc? So yeah, this stuff truly works and the cigarette I did smoke.......Smoked it in 2 parts. Lit the first half while out walking the dog on th local trail to the reservoir. All I can say is don't smoke on top of this stuff lest ye be ready for some serious dizzies.

Oh yeah, we musnt neglect College football season shall we, Heres my season so far, Ohio State has pitched back to back shoutouts this year with Pryor looking like maybe he aint all that, just a bag of chips, of course there one loss already comes to a team that got beat by Washington a week later and Tressell is the worlds biggest play calling wuss. The UC Bearcats are climbing the top 25 sittin at number 9 right now with winless Miami of OH to play this Sat lest they pitch another big time ass whoopin like the 70-3 punishing of SEMO they could actually drop down a notch or two. And believe this....Tony Pike has actually garnered some attention in the Heisman race this year, you know what I would pay to see??? Ohio State and Cincinnati in a Bowl game at the end of the year, long shot but could happen, I predict Ohio State would be going home unhappy.

Local DIII action has nothing more to report than a winless Ohio Wesleyan and the one Saturday time permits to go check out a game happens to be there Homecoming, I want to watch football not listen to some guy announce a bunch of girls names. Maybe I go maybe I wont I predict a homecoming heartbreaker anyhow.

And to satiate my dear friends yes its old news but who doesnt like seein the Cinti/Rutgers roll again?? Rutgers was favored with Kirk Herbstreit calling Rutgers the "team to beat in the Big East" Herbie boy also wants a mini NFL of the Big 30. Idiot.

My recent trip to Austin has longed for a sojourn. Here in this Ohio rain longing for the TX heat, the Austin thought and the desert bull. Look west young man. I did, hit the coast and turned again.

I landed at Bregstrom at 9:20, a quick Torchy's Taco and a fresh pack of Winstons later Hayes Carll stood before me on the famous Antones platform. Sing it to me Haye's, my life reads like an alt. country song and my soul like the novel of long before. The image of the Horseshoe brought a tear to my eye with the memory of the orange acid laden papers. The landing of the depression coupled with the wet. Whiskey never left my brain and nicotine still leaves a stain. The cancerous sore that invades my privacy and the love for which I left behind.

Yeah I been slack on the posts as of late but gimmee a break OK!! I am in Ohio and for OH the weather has been near perfect lately. I remember ridin the bike in February tryin to get over the 2 wheel DT's and folks lookin at me like I were nuts, well guess what??? I IS NUTS!!!

Some real sweet ol school footage here. Gotta love the tunes, actually you dont you are perfectly free to hate this music but it reminds me of The Ugly Americans or some other total Aussie band from the late 80's. Midnight Oil meets daylight.
