MUSIC WEEK!!

OK, my lil rant last night got me thinkin of all the ol school punk stuff we used to jam to. Green Day has nothing on this stuff. So in honor of the old guys who helped shape form and cultivate my existence.....We start off with some old Black Flag. Rollins still had hair, was young and idealistic, had yet to sign with MTV and what about them shorts!!! Damn Henry, those are shorts!!

The music you are about to hear may disturb you, it may make you wonder how a grown man could listen to this. Dont know dont care. Its Black Flag and this was one of the best half pipe songs ever recorded.

Ol Skool

I miss the old sk8 scene. It was raw, it was real it was unmolested and it wasnt cool. Mtn Dew wasnt on board yet, Tony Hawk wasnt selling anything he could put his name on at the mall. We worked with what we had where we had, cops hated us, jocks beat on us and girls were afraid to say our name @ the dinner table. We were punks we were loud mean angry and aggressive. Style want fashionable and we were rats and proud of it.

Non-skaters might look at this footage and think.... "that don't look so hard" B.S. that's Roskopp yo! He was on of the originators, he was fast, hard and full of attitude! Something is lacking in the scene today and I am not sure just what that is. But if you look at this footage, look a the scale of that pipe and think of how fast my man is really going.....bet U couldn't do that.

Gettin amped and ready to go visit the Carolina shore and if all goes well soon relocate there.

The Blues....

On a whim today and a good hour needin to kill, I stopped into the local Goodwill. Much to my awe there on the end of the mens t-shirt rack was a near new lookin, feelin and smellin Motorhead t-shirt, and in the color black to boot! I nearly forgot for a moment what a pure hard rockin, balls out no apologies metal band Lemmy and the boys are. Of course I had to buy the shirt and wearing it makes me feel as if my manhood may have elevated another couple notches, only real "dont give a damn" type guys are capable of sporting a Motorhead T.

Of course I had to come home tonight and see just what the boys have been up to, Whores it looks like, nothin but the Whorehouse Blues. Enjoy.....Thanks Lemmy.
