I stands and I thinks I must stand for something I think. I think I will stand for finding new, creative and unusual ways to improve this blog each and every month with each and every post.

Find ways to improve myself and those around me. Improve my life, my work, my health and my play. One thing I know is to give up the coffin nails (cigarettes) again.

I think future blog posts will carry the willingness and perseverance one must have to give up nicotine addiction. I think these are good ideas.

OK, so we have seen all the title implies so far, and dont worry my female friends. Bikes.Dogs, Guns and Women seeks only to represent women as the truly empowered and amzing creatures that they are, and should ever a woman appear on this site with breasts hanging between a set of chrome ape-hangers strddled atop some chinese frame chopper it would only be too dislplay the absurdidty of such. BUT TRUCKS? Where would a man be let alone bikes dogs guns and women without trucks?? Tonight is truck night. We will begin with my truck carrying my former bike along with a dog who choses to hang out with me and if we have time likely showcase more 4WD eye candy, likely of the Japanese persuasion. Bandit Trumps ST2

Likely i have just violated some copyright laws but that's OK. Here below is a fine illustration of what I consider to be the best all around street bike your hard earned money can buy. A 1999 Suzuki Bandit 1200S. Sure I could have put up a pic of my own Bandit but this is just one damn fine drawing.

Were talking torque here people....lots of it, high red line but will buck right into about 3500 rpm at a normal cruising speed. I knew I wanted this bike for many months and even rode the 600cc variety however realized that only a 1200 would really satisfy my thirst, and speaking of thirst, if I did have to pic one downfall of this machine it would be small gas tank coupled with low gas mileage. Maybe we cant have it all but the Bandit comes damn close to giving it. Suzuki has done little to toil with this product however the newer models are now fuel injected and are actually about 1247cc in comparison to the 1149 you see here and the seat has been moved around a little but other than that the same trusty steed now going on 17 years I believe. Bandits would likely be a cult bike if they had only been imported for say 2 or 3 years and I find it surprising not to see more of them on the roads but perhaps that is one more thing to like. When you ride, say a Ninja 500, or a CB something or other, they are all over the damn place. But a Bandit.....now that's like seeing a real Trans Am. Sure they are out there but it ain't your ma's Taurus that's fer sure. So what you might ask did I you beloved author sacrifice for my Bandit. The answer is the red beauty you see above. Other than aforementioned gas mileage I feel the Bandit is more comfy, better control layout with a more user friendly approach, I feel much more confident in the lean and I can swap the battery in all of 5minutes compared to the 20-30 it took on the Duc just to get to the damn thing. And while yes the ST2 did and still does have its own fine qualities not the least of which is "heh....its a Ducati!" Which garnered plenty of double takes and low under the tongue whistles from many an enthusiast, my smart money sez Bandit.

Guns and girls becoming women

So in addition to Bikes, dogs, guns and women, for your readin, listening and Viewing pleasure we will have music, cars, building theory, and a whole mix of other Riff Raff. Think June Cleaver meets Jonny Rotten and decided to have babies, lots of em. runnin around Jonnys beachfront home in Malibu.

I will do my best to stay away from politics, religion, and other hot button issues like the OctoMom and generally any other topic discussed on Nacy Grace or Montel, Likely because in my book those people suck and should pay me a dollar an hour to pull weeds in my flower beds, not that I have flower beds mind you but if I did......Nancy Grace would be on her knees pulling dandelions!!

Let us also keep in mind this blog unlike many I have see is here as a public serice to you my readers. Though I cant always promise there wont be some self serving latitudes going on here, especially when I might be having an all about me moment, I will over all do my best to show off a larger world that I and hopefully you will find thought provoking and interesting which will likely bring you back for more. And we cant ignore the heart of this blog, which is to help myself build a profile on the cheap with the goal that one day someone out there, and maybe you will pay me for my ramblings and Nancy Grace.....

how not to build a house

Should any of my devoted ever hire a G.C to have there vey own home built and should it begin to look like this midway through the drying in phase do us all a favor and fire your contractor.

Sadly it was my gun and my hammer that did a large portion of this work, an a lesson learned, never ever ever do work you dont believe in for the sake of cashing a check. As a consolation, I let the man keep one of my ladders. Nice one too!!



Now some of you non-builder types and possibly some of you that have and can and will build a home in the future may not see just what I am speaking of here but I guarantee at least 2 things of many which are likely to happen to this place. 1) It is gonna be infested with rot mold and mildew within 10 years (ok, that 3) and four, this place is going to be impossible to keep up with the heating and cooling expense.

OK OK alright already, this blog needs help and i find it doubtful at best if anyone even pays attention to it. Here is my decree. I internationally promise to keep this thing rolling with at least one post a week and prefferably 2-5 per week.

I can't promise long posts and with the ADD society we live in you likely wouldnt read a long post anyhow. And as the title of this blog implies we will closely follow such format, such as my dog, Kayla, who as of today seems to have a sprained ankle or something. No bloody scars or the like, just limping around on threes, she is surprisingly managing the steps just fine though.
